Overview: PST Products offers R&D equipment and a complete production system for the joining, forming, and crimping of sheet materials and circumferentially shaped dissimilar metals using EMPT (Electromagnetic Pulse Technology). Features: Unlike conventional welding, electromagnetic pulse joining does not melt the materials, so there is no reduction in material strength at the joint due to heat. Electromagnetic pulse forming/crimping allows for strong processing without springback.
